Timenkar - 13 Berber villages

The Timenkar Plateau holds for us an impressive geological diversity with 13 typical Berber villages in terraced landscape.
Departure at 8.30 from Marrakesch towards the ski resort Oukaimeden. There we drive up to the plateau of Timenkar at 2200m. We will drive through the village of Ait Zdi Ali Oufars crossing a varied vegetation of Maghreb maritime pines, some oxycedar junipers, and cedars, while keeping the view of the villages in the canyon which descends towards Ourika. Arrival at the beginning of the plateau at 1900m, superb and panoramic view of Marrakech. On the way, we gradually return to the heart of mountain village life with its simple and beautiful landscapes. On the way, we cross 13 different villages.
Between the driving from one typical Berber village to an other, we have the chance to go for some hiking if you like. From 30min. to 1,5h.
The geological structure changes continuously and also its color, from iron oxidation formations, volcanic rocks and granite. We will have a delicious meal with locals in the village of Chiket, 2160m on a terrace with a breathtaking view of the High Atlas. After the refreshing meal we zigzag down via Tadrart and after about 1 hour we reach Setti Fatma. From there it goes in a 1.5 hour drive back to Marrakech through the green valley of Ourika.
Ouirgen - Zat valley

For those who want to escape from the busy city to explor the life of the Amazigh people. Finde yourself in a quiet untouched place wher you can discover the beauty of nature and meet the locals.
The day starts in Marrakech where we drive for 45 minutes direction Zat valley. We will make you discover the secret of the authentic villages, set up in the valley of Zat. This valley, not very touristy, will assure you peace and quiet for a perfect disconnection. You will have the chance to explore the area on foot for a certain time between 1h and 2h. By a nice meal at a families home we get to know some local people and relax before we hit the road again to Marrakesch
Lake Lalla Takerkoust

From Marrekesch its just about a hour to drive to get to the nearby lake. The name of the place comes from the Sufi saint Lalla Takerkoust, who is revered in local folklore. Today The reservoir provides much of the drinking water for the Marrakech urban region. We will explor the town with the grave of Lalla and the surounding area of the lake.
Departure from Marrakech towards Amizmiz, one hour drive. Halfway there, we stop at the Lalla Takerkoust dam, a very idyllic lake. A nice place to go for some walking ore swimming. Here you can also overlook the Atlas Mountains which we will explore later on. Then we will reach Amizmiz, drive throuh and go up to discover the High Atlas.
Depending on your wishes, we will prepare an outdoor picnic or lunch in a restaurant. After a rest we will return to Marrakech at the end of the day.
Imlil valley
1 day, Marrakesch - Imlil - 2h drive - hike 0.5h - 3h
We drive you to the heart of the High Atlas, where almost in the shadow of the highest mountain in North Africa Toubkal (4’167 m), lies the village of Imlil (1’740 m). It has become a very popular village because it is the starting point for Toubkal, but also for a wide range of different hikes and treks.
Departure from Marrakech to Imlil, two hour drive. We propose a discovery tour of this famous village Imlil, nestled in the heart of the highest mountains of north Africa, the starting point for the ascent of Mountain Toubkal 4164m.a.s.l.
On arrival, we will visit Imlil and discover a this nice and famous mountain village. Depending on your wishes, we can have lunch at a local's house, in a gîte or in a restaurant.
In the afternoon we walk along the paths leading to the heights to admire the view. It will take us about 1.5h to get there. After this hiking we will return to Marrakech and feel relaxed and refreshed.
Ouzoud waterfalls

The Ouzoud Waterfalls (Cascades d'Ouzoud) are located in the High Atlas Mountains. they are Morocco's highest falls. A magnificent sight, tumbling 110 meters through a dramatic red rock gorge of the El Abid River.
Only an hour and a half from Marrakech, a breathtaking spectacle awaits you. The Ouzoud waterfalls stretch over three levels, measuring over 110 meters high. They are the highest waterfalls in Morocco. The nature is flourishing and the macaques are somewhat playful.
We will guide you through this tangle of impressive waterfalls. There you have the option to go for a short or a longer walk along the water of Ouzoud. It has so may beautiful spots to see the falls from so may impressive perspectives you wont stop taking pictures of it.
After a nice lunch in a restaurant by the water ore a littel fare from the busy area we will return to Marrakech.
