I grew up in Amlougui, a small Berber village in the Ourika Valley at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains, nature was literally at my feet. I spent most of my childhood outdoors and experienced nature intensively in all seasons, in its simplest form and in many different ways. These years and later I was learning the trade of shepherding and farming, the love of nature became even stronger and more complex.
It was not surprising that I got in touch with the growth of tourism. I began to guide them officially and opened the doors to my house and family to offer local experiences by staying with us.
I love to give people access to my culture, to show the secrets of the Atlas and the real live of the Amazigh. To immerse themselves in the diversity of nature with them.

CONNIE SCHIESS: GRAFIC DESIGNER, OUTDOOR FREAK AND HORSE WHISPERER
I’m swiss and grew up in Zurich, where I studied graphic design and ran my own studio. I became a mother of two children and changed my field of work to a facility for people with disabilities. There I design the packaging for our products, run the art therapy, the theater group and work in the textile studio on hand looms.
In 2017, while hiking, I met Ibrahim Essoussy our trekking guide, and with him, his family and the village Amlougui, to which I felt a strong connection from the first moment.
I love the variety of Morocco’s nature, the handcraft, the simplicity and generosity of the Amazigh people. I enjoy being outdoor, on foot, on the horse, by the campfire, under the stars. or by painting with self made colors from this earth of this region.

HASSAN BELLA: CANYONING GUIDE, NETWORKER AND RACLETTE LOVER
I am a native of the village of Oulmas at the bottom of the valley of Ourika at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains.
I crisscross since my childhood the mountainous massives of Morocco and the desert. This passion pushed me to become a guide in 2006. Since 2021 I am also one of the first guides of canyoning in my country. After 7 years of intensive practice in different canyons of Morocco. I now guide the canyoning courses together with my brother.
I speak French, English, Amazigh, Arabic. I have accompanied people of different nationalities and at all levels from young to old and on foot. I love driving and I am happy to drive ypu around in Morocco.

My name is Kamal, I was born in May 1992, in a rural environment in a part of the Moroccan High Atlas, exactly in the valley of Ourika. Where I grew up and I continued my studies until the High School. After I attended the Faculty of Humanities.
Parallel with my university studies I am a lover of nature and the exploration of the different elements. I like that so much, so I became a guide in the natural spaces, with the aim of sharing our cultures, our traditions and our natural environments with the others..
