Marrakesch - Tizi N’test - Taroudant - Tafraoute - Tiznit - Agadir - Essaouira - Setti Fadma - Marrakesch

Day 1: 226km, 5h Marrakesch - Tizi N’test - Taroudant After breakfast, departure towards the High Atlas over the pass of Tizi N’test. On teh way to the peak of Tizi N’tset we pass different Berber villages till we get to the mosque of Tinmal. The historically significant place, was the nucleus of the Almohad Empire. The partially restored mosque, which is also open to tourists, dates from the mid-12th century and is indescribably beautiful in its simplicity and clarity.
Day 2: 150km, 3h Taroudant -Tafraout After breakfast, departure by paved road towards the Anti Atlas to discover Berber villages and the valley of almond trees. We also have the chance to visit an Agadir, this is a special building and the bank for the Amazigh. After lunch we drive a other hour till we arrival in Tafraoute by the end of the afternoon. Night at the hotel.
Day 3: 140km, 3h Tafraout - Ait Mansour -Tafraout Departure for a day to discover the Tafraout region with its painted rocks, they were painted in 1984 by Belgian artist Jean Verame with the help of the Tafraoute people. In the Amelnes valley and the Ait Mansour valley we will visit a typical Amazigh/Berber museum and have lunch by a family. Return late afternoon to Tafraout. (Possibility of hiking) Night at the hotel
Day 4: Tafraout - Col Kerdous - Tiznit - Agadir - Essaouira Departure to Tiznit via the Kerdous pass; Tiznit so called the silver city. Here we will stop for a wile to see where the name comes from. Then we hit the road to Agadir where we follow the Atlantic coast till Essaouira (Mogador) passing through the fields of banana trees and Tamarinde. Night at the hotel in Essaouira.
Day 5: explore Essaouira This morning, you will explore the exciting coastal city. Essaouira has experienced the influence of many civilizations, a small village with a great history. Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic”. With its animated port, colorful marketplace and history of artists seeking inspiration, Essaouira is full of life, light, and magic! On the beach you have the chance to go for some surfing, riding on horses ore camels ore you enjoy the ocean by swimming. You will spend the night at an authentic Moroccan riad.
Day 6: 360km, 6h Essaouira – Chichaoua – Setti Fadma We will drive you to the Atlas mountain. Along the way, we will stop to see Argan trees where you enjoy to see the goats climbing on this trees. We will take a pause to visit a cooperative where local women produce Argan oil with traditional equipment. Then we will drive into the Ourika vally, ore also called the green vally, just 4km before we get to Setti Fadma, we cross the river of Ourika to bring you to our family guest house Amlougui, where we stay for two nigths.
Day 7: explore Amlougui In the morning you can decide for a visit to the waterfall of Setti Fadma and have lunch by the river. Ore you like to hike up 2 h, to Agouns where we see the shepherds with the goats. We will have a pick nic and enjoy the pure nature. Ore go for some canyoning by the near waterfall where its good to start with your first experience (will be charged extra). After all we finish our journey with a last nice dinner.
Day 8: Marrakech - Airport Today is your last day. We bring you to the airport and hope we could make you happy and you had an unforgettable time with us here in morocco and you will come again.
