MARRAKESCH - AIT BENHADOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES/TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA DESERT - HIGH ATLAS - MARRAKSCH

Day 1: 330km, 6h Marrakech - Ait Benhadou - Ouarzazate - Dades gorge Morning departure from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka (2260 m) with a great view. Then we reach the village of Ait Benhaddou. After lunch we will drive via Ouarzazate to enjoy the palm grove of Skoura and the Valley of Roses. Continue to the Dades valley, where we will spend the first night.
Day 2: 265km, 4h Dades Gorges - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Risani- Merzouga Departure will be after breakfast to visit Dades gorges, taking the road of 1000 Kasbahs drive around the colorful Berber villages of the Dades valley to get to Tineghir with it's beautiful palm grove. We will continue to the Gorge of Todgha , where we go on a walk along the 300 m high canyon, a preferred place of mountain climbers. Afterwards we will drive to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert. There we will have lunch on our way. Once you arrive to the Dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will take a camel and ride for 1 h30 min while watching the sunset, to get to the camp in the oasis. Spending the night in the bivouac under nomadic tents or outside under shooting stars. Have a nice dinner and listen to the music of the locals.
Day 3: 366km, 5.15h Merzouga - Alnif - Tazarine - Agdez - Ouarzazate Wake up early and climb the sand dunes to watch the beautiful sunrise. Then we pack-up the camels and trek back, where you will shower and breakfast at the hotel. Now we will drive on to Ouarzazate via Rissani, where you can stop and visit its Traditional Souks which is considered the largest in southern Morocco. Continue through the beautiful Draa valley with its thousand palm trees. In the evening we arrive in Ouarzazate and check into a great hotel.
Day 4: 204km, 4h Ouarzazate - High Atlas - Telouet- Marrakech Transfer to Ait Benhaddou village, and visit the World Heritage Site, one of Morocco's most spectacular Kasbah (fortified villages). Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural scenery for many movies producers. Continue to Marrakech with a detour to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and visit the Kasbah el Glaoui. Crossing the high Atlas mountain where you will have a great view. In the early evening we will arrive in Marrakesch and bring you to your Riad.

Marrakesch - Mhamid - Desert Erg Chegaga

Day 1: 8h drive, From Marrakech 8 hours drive over the Tizi n' Ticka pass (2260 m a.s.l.) to Ouarzazate. There is a breathtaking view of gorges and mountain valleys. We drive through a beautiful area where we see the Kasbah Glaoui and Ait Benhaddou. This impressive clay village is a UNESCO World Heritage. After this unforgettable visit we will continue to Zagora where we will bivouac.
Day 2: 3h hike, 8km, 20m ▲: We leave the populated areas behind us, turn our gaze forward and hike into the seemingly endless expanse of the Sahara. Our luggage is loaded onto camels. The following days we only need to carry our daypacks. We will go in the direction of Bouygawarn through the villages. After thise we will Bivouac under 1000 of stars and enjoy the delicios dinner.
Day 3: 3.5h hike, 8km, 80m ▲ 80m ▼: Departure for Tidri by Zaouit Sidi Salh (possible purchases). A mountain range and the position of the sun help us for orientation. We slowly dive into another dimension of time and space, determined by the day/night rhythm, the regular breaks and meals, as well as walking in the vastness. We discover the different faces of the desert and from our guides, we get an insight into the life of the people living in this mighty landscape.Bivouac.
Day 4: 4h hike, 9km, 10m ▲: Direction Oulad Drisse. We linger in the dune landscape, enjoying the view over a seemingly endless sea of sand. Traces of all kinds impress with their filigree fineness. (Possibility to visit the Kasbah) Night at the lodge.
Day 5: 8h drive, Return to Marrakech
