Day 1: 86km, 1.25h Casablanca - Rabat (depending on your arraving) we pick you up at the Airport of Casablanca and drive you to Rabat which is the capital and cultural capital of Morocco and one of the four royal cities. During the city tour we will visit the Royal Palace (exterior tour) and the government quarter. On the way to the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, we can visit the burial place of the Merinid Sultans.
Day 2: 260km, 4.5h Rabat - Chefchaoun After breakfast, we will drive up north on a scenic route with coniferous forests, olive groves and magnificent views of the Rif Mountains. Via Ouazzane, the holy city and second most important place of pilgrimage in Morocco, we reach Chefchaouen, also called the blue city. Here we have the best conditions to enjoy.
Day 3: 200km, 4.5h Chefchaoun - Fès Our journey will continues to Fès. The oldest of the four royal cities lies gently nestled in the green foothills of the Atlas Mountains. On the way to Fès we will enjoy the varied landscape, between forests, fields and berber villages. After this entertaining drive you will fall in love with your beautiful Riad.
Day 4: Fès - City tour Fès, the oldest of the imperial cities, which was for centuries the cultural and religious center of the Muslim West. Explore the medina and its souks with a local guide, the Medersa Bou Inania or the Attica. Medersa Bou Inania or Attarine, then the square Nejarine with its magnificent fountain decorated with mosaics. Lunch in a restaurant palace in the medina. Visit to the Museum of Popular Art Bathha, the Royal Palace and the tombs Mérinides, from where we have a view of the city and its ramparts.
Day 5: 360km, 5,5h Fès - Meknès - Bin El Ouidane Today we drive first to Meknès it is located on a fertile plateau and is known for its 40 km long city wall with the magnificent city gates, as well as for the beautiful, authentic souks. Here we visit the probably most beautiful city gate of Morocco, the "Bab El Mansour". After this visit we drive through a varied landscape with magnificent views of the mountains and small villages, olive groves and lush green fields. By the city of Beni Mellal we visit the the Kasbah Bel-Kush and Ras al Ain bear witness to more than 300 years of history. Then we continue to Bin El Ouidane which is located on a artificial lake. Here you can relax in a nice hotel, enjoy the view and a quiet night.
Day 6: 220km, 4h Bin El Ouidane - Setti Fadma After a healthy breakfast we drive in the direction of Marrakesch, passing cultivated fields small and larger Berber villages with the view of the High Atlas Mountains. On the way we will have the possibility of visiting the Ouzoud waterfall. I’s up to you, otherwise we continue in the direction of the Ourika valley, also called the green valley. As soon we drive in the valley, you will know why the name will fit very well. Along the river of Ourika we will get more and more in the Atlas mountains till the little Berber/Amazigh village of Amlougui close by the well known village Setti Fadma. There we will stay over night in the guesthouse of our family.
Day 7: 60km, 1.5h Setti Fadma - Marrakesch Here you have the chance to get involved with the daily live. You can choose between making berber bread, go for a little hike ore relax for a moment at the terrace of Amlougui. After a delicious Tajine we drive you to Marrakech where a city guide will show you the most important sights of the medina: The Koutubia Mosque, the "Bab Agnaou", the most beautiful gate of Marrakech, ore the Bahia Palace. The final evening will be spent in a typical restaurant.
Day 8: Merrakesch Depending on the departure time, we will pick you up and bring you to the airport. Transfer to Casablanca we charge extra.
